Another sunny day!

Cactus cruise

Each morning Declan goes for a cactus cruise in his stroller. It usually ends in a caucus snooze! He loves the warm Arizona sun!

This is right outside Great Nana's house! She has cool cacti in her garden.

Declan was born in November so he hadn't really felt the warm sun, or seen the sun! He's loving being in Arizona, but he misses his Daddy! Here are a few pics from our first full day!

Finally tall enough!

Declan is finally tall enough to go in the jumperoo. He's not too sure he likes it, but I know he will soon! He was pretty cute in it. He wasn't sure what to do with his arms, so he just kept them at his side.

Valentine Dragon

Grammy had a special Valentine for Declan on Thursday! She got him his very first Valentine: a dragon!

Daddy and Declan Day

Today Daddy and Declan spent the day together playing and talking while I worked around the house. In the afternoon I went to the grocery store all ALONE!! Then I met some friends for happy hour at Emory's. It was great, but it was also great to come home to my two guys.

Tomorrow is Declan's first Valentines day! Trysha took some really cute photos of our guy. He's single and loving it this year.

Garden Show

Declan and I went with Grammy to the Garden Show! It had snowed Saturday night and there was a little snow on the ground Sunday, so there was hardly anyone there. We had a great day looking at the beautiful display gardens. We also ate our picnic lunch and listened to a gospel choir. Afterwards we went to Penney's and got some great deals on some summer clothes!

Anacortes, Mt Erie, Deception Pass

Today we went with Grammy, Pop and Dennis on a little tour. Dennis is visiting from Denver and wanted to see some sites. It's been a little chilly here, in the 20's so we bundled up and headed out. First we went to Anacortes. We stopped at the marina and admired all the boats, tugs and yachts.

Next we went to Mt Erie which has views of the Puget Sound, Whidbey Island, the Olympics and the Cascades.

Then we went to Deception Pass beach! We had a great walk and enjoyed the water. 

We stopped in Oak Harbor for fish and chips before riding the ferry home. We had a lovely day together. 

Three months old!

Declan is 3 months old today. I can't believe how quickly the months have gone by. We've enjoyed every moment, even the poop shooting across the room. He's been such a joy in our lives with his sweet smiles, hugs and snuggles.
