Fair Day

After a lovely weekend at the cabin, we went to the Evergreen State Fair! Declan loved looking at all the animals!

A little tractor riding:

Goats and sheep:

Piglets:

Next we stopped to watch the stock car races. Then we stopped at the petting zoo where we saw llamas, alpacas, deer, donkeys, pigs and more. Declan liked kicking the wood chips more than petting the animals.

Declan really liked the family farm. There was a hay maze, giant pumpkins and a mnion hay bale.

We had Walla Walla onion rings, an elephant ear and a Hawaiian shaved ice while we wandered around the fair. Declan had so much fun, he fell asleep in his stroller.

Playing with Sydney

Declan's freind Sydney and her mom Jessica came to visit. They visit us every couple of weeks. Sydney loves tummy time and is showing Declan her superman pose!

Cabin Time

Saturday morning we headed up to the cabin for the weekend. We arrived to cloudy weather. After playing around the cabin, Pop and Brad took Declan for a walk to the river.

When they returned we went into Skykomish to ride the train.  Declan rode three times! Once again he loved riding the train through the tunnel and over the bridge.
Afterwards we visited the museum to learn more about Skykomish. It had several wooden trains for Declan to explore and drive around. Next we went to Toot Sweet next door. There were many different types of candy and all sorts of trains. Declan especially liked a train that was battery operated.

We drove home for nap time, followed by dinner, lots of running around, another long walk, popcorn and a movie! Declan and Brad played "go go go" which is Declan's favorite right now!

He also loves to give RJ treats!

Seahawks!

Last night we took Declan to his first Seahawks game! It was a preseason game, but it was still exciting for Declan. When we arrived at the stadium, we stopped to listen to the drum line play on the stairs. Declan loved it. He clapped and cheered for them.

Listening to the drum line!

We made our way to our seats. We had seats way up high in the upper level on the south end of the stadium. We had great view of the whole field. Declan enjoyed the whole game. He danced to the music, yelled, cheered, raised his hands to say field goal and made friends with everyone around us.

He's a little excited!

Touchdown!

He loves to dance. Future Sea Gal Declan:
