Frog and Toad All Year

On Sunday we took Declan to see Frog and Toad All Year at the Second Story Rep in Redmond. The show was excellent. Declan laughed and giggled several times. He said he really like it. After the show we got to meet the actors. Declan walked right up to the birds and said "thank you for the show, I really liked it." Then he told Frog and Toad that they did a really good job and thanked them for the show!

After the play we shopped in a couple of stores, rode the bear statues, and played at the playground. Then Mao treated us to a Starbucks donut and drink! Yum!

First Snow Ski at Steven's

On Saturday Declan skied for the first time on Saturday! We took him up to Steven's and met Elias, Uncle Scott and Pop. The boys did the magic carpet several times, rode the Daisy chair and skied all the way down.

And then we got super tired and had a small meltdown, followed by pelting Pop and Daddy with snowballs. 

Preschool Explorers #1

Declan had his first Explorers class at the Children's Museum. The focus of the day was flowering plants and flowering trees. Declan learned what a plant needs to grow: sunlight, dirt, and water. He got to use a microscope to see the flower up close.


Then the kids had center time. Declan worked with a baby doll to give her care. He built towers with blocks, painted and sorted poof balls.

After his class we ate lunch and then we went up into the museum. Declan played with the magformers, trains and water tables.

We had a great time together!

Mini Mountain

Brad and Uncle Scott took Elias and Declan for a boy's night ski lesson at Mini Mountain. The boys had a lot of fun and even got to go for ice cream afterwards!
