This weekend we took Declan out to La Push to camp with our friends the Linns, Christiane, Missy and Joel. We had a fantastic time and the weather couldn't have been better. It was warm with a breeze and not too cold at night.
Brad left work early on Friday and we got on the ferry to head over to the coast. We waited in line about two hours for the ferry and then made the 3 hour drive to ocean. Declan was a star traveler. He loved the ferry and enjoyed the wind blowing in his hair.
We arrived in the evening and got our tent set up and fed Declan dinner. Sage fed her doll Anna dinner too. We visited with the Linns and walked down to the ocean. Declan, Sage and Andria had never seen the ocean before so it was exciting to see their reaction. Andria played and splashed in the water. Poor Sage fell and got soaking wet while running with me. Declan put his toes in the water and loved it.

After playing in the water we headed back up to our campsite and Missy and Joel had arrived. We grilled burgers. Travis built a fire and we sat around the campfire laughing. We all enjoyed the amazing stars. Declan fell asleep by the fire in his jammies. We headed back to our tent and he woke up to play! He refused to go into his pack n play so he snuggled into our sleeping bags for the night.
