Christmas Decorating and Cookie Day

We put the lights and ornaments on our tree on Sunday afternoon. I had to put all of our special ornaments up high since Declan loves to pull them off of the tree and play with them,

The following Saturday we all met in Snohomish for our annual cookie day. Kristine, Elias, Paula, Great Nana, Grammy and Papa all helped make cookies. We made krumkake, peanut butter balls, rosettes, sugar cookies, chocolate star cookies, noel nut balls, and more. It was a fun and delicious day!

 Declan managed to convince Great Nana to move the cookies closer to him. Then he would grab them after she frosted the cookie and lick off the frosting!

Then we had pizza and relaxed a little bit together.

On Monday, Declan and I made fudge at our house. He loved watching the kitchen mix the fudge. I let him have a little taste and he immediately wanted more. He went down for his afternoon nap. After he woke up, he immediately crawled to the kitchen aid to look for the fudge, it was all cleaned up and put away. Upon seeing the fudge was all gone, he sobbed and I laughed!!
