On Thursday Paula and I took Declan to the zoo. We had a wonderful visit! We saw tons of animals and enjoyed great weather.

Declan really wanted to check out the meerkat burrow, but he was a little hesitant to go down there. Instead he crawled on top!
Declan's favorite animal has been the otter. Unfortunately the otters were napping today!
We took Declan into the rainforest area for the first time to see the golden lion tamarin monkey and the toucans.
Lemurs!
After leaving the zoo, we went over to the rose garden and wandered among the plants. Many dahlias and roses were still in bloom!
We walked back to our car and headed over to Spud for fish and chips! It was a delicious treat! We had a wonderful day with Paula.
