The Fourth!

We spent the 4th up at the cabin. In the morning the kids took the dads for a walk at Steven's Pass. Afterwards we lazed around the cabin, had a taco dinner and then went to the ball park for the fireworks. The kids got to check out the firetruck! Each of them got to drive the truck and got a fire hat.

We played in the field. The kids loved playing monkey in the middle with us, tee ball and volleyball. We all had so much fun running around together. 

As soon as it was dark the kids got to do sparklers. Declan loved it! He kept saying "cool" and "wow!" 

We snuggled down in our chairs to watch the fireworks shows. It was a loooonnnng show, lasting over 45 minutes. It started sprinkling but we all enjoyed it. Declan kept says "boom, bang, bing!" He loved the show.
