Little Gardener

Today Declan wanted to plant some seeds. We went to the store to get the seeds, dirt and little Jiffy pots. We got home and it was pouring rain! Luckily we have a dry spot under our deck so we got our coats on and started planting! 

 Declan chose sunflowers, marigolds and zinnia seeds to plant. He put in the dirt, then poked a hole in each spot and carefully planted every seed. Then he covered the seeds.

When we were finished, the sun had come out so Declan helped me plant the extra seeds in pots around our yard. Then he got his shopping cart and went shopping for weeds in the yard! He was very successful!
