Christmas Tree

Friday Declan felt a bit better so we went to get our Christmas tree. The Reade Ranch where we’ve gone the last several years has closed and so we went to Stocker farms instead. 

Declan was very excited that he was able to help cut down the tree this year and help carry it to the car! 

 After chopping it tree we explored around the farm and helped Mao and Pop with their tree. Stocker farm wasn’t our favorite place. I think we will choose a different one next year. 

We returned to Mao’s house for Thanksgiving leftovers. Brad helped Pop set up their tree. Then Pop delivered our tree to our house. We spent the evening decorating it and listening to Christmas music. 

Festival of Trees

Mao and I took Wesley and Declan to the Festival

Of  Trees at the Tulalip casino. 

Of course we had to visit Santa! 

Declan loved the superhero and lego trees! 

Declan loved making all sorts of crafts! 

They had lots of cookies and hot cocoa for us to enjoy! 

We had an awesome time! 

Thanksgiving

Declan started running a fever on Thanksgiving eve. He ended up sick Thanksgiving Day so we had a quiet day at home together. I drove to Mao and Pop’s to get us a turkey dinner. Then we got out Christmas decorations and started decorating our house! 

First ski day

Declan had his first ski day Saturday. Daddy and Declan left early in the morning to meet Uncle Scott and Elias. They drove together to the pass. Declan was so excited he talked the entire drive. 

The boys had a great time and and were worn out after a couple of hours! 

Sunday afternoon: last day as 3

Sunday was Declan’s last day as a three year old. We let him open his gifts from Nana Lynne, Aunt Whitney and Uncle Grant’s family! He got some great superhero sets! He was so excited!

Nana Hope’s Birthday

On November 10th we celebrated Nana Hope’s birthday with a delicious lunch at Outback!

He’s 4

We woke up to an excited 4 year old boy this morning! Declan loved the balloons on his door. He ate his breakfast pancakes  on his Peter Rabbit fine China from John and Sheila.

Uncle Scott’s birthday

Today we met Uncle Scott, Elias, Bennett, Aunt a Kristine, Mao and Pop at Scuttlebutt for Scott’s birthday lunch. After we went to Mao and Pops for ice cream! The boys had a great time playing. Mao and Pop had brought back snake shirts from Arizona for Pop, Elias and Declan! 

Visiting Great Nana Hope

I took the boys to visit Nana in their Halloween costumes. She loved seeing Batman and Robin. 

Declan adores his Great Nana Hope! 

We ate macaroni and cheese and monkey bread and played together!
