Bennett’s birthday

Sunday evening we celebrated Bennett’s birthday! Even though he turned two in February, we didn’t celebrate until April because of ski season!

We had a great time watching the boys run around and play and stuffing ourselves with delicious food and treats.

Playground, boardwalk, hair pulling, gardening

After preschool we went to the park to run around, play and eat a donut! Declan loved pushing Wesley on the swing! 

After playing we went for a walk on the boardwalk. Declan practiced balancing, looked for critters and ran. 

 We stopped to take a couple of pictures. Wesley loves being able to reach Declan's head. He had to give his hair a good yank or two. Declan was yelling "stop Fat Head!" I was giggling while he yelled at Fat Head!

 On the way home for the park Declan told me he wants me to change his brother's name to Fat Head since he has such a big brain! Ha!

Wesley took a nap at home while Declan and I did some yard work. After his nap Wesley joined us outside. Declan brought us a picnic snack of strawberries, bananas and a bottle for W.

Declan worked hard to trim the barberry bush. Wesley worked on moving the bark.

Uno

We’ve been really enjoying playing Uno Moo, a simple junior version of Uno, with Declan. He loves to skunk us (skip us). 

He’s been doing really well with it so we decided to introduce him to Uno with cards. He has a cool set from Paula that have Cars on them. Declan has caught on pretty quickly and true to form loves to play the skip cards. 

Friday seed planting

This morning Mao and I took the boys to the Brooks outlet sale. Afterwards we went to Fred Meyer and got vegetable seeds for our garden. 

Once we got home we ate lunch together. 

Then while Wesley napped we planted our seeds in egg cartons. Declan planted zucchini, green beans, sugar snap peas, sunflower seeds and carrots. Declan carefully covered each seed with dirt, sprayed them with water and then put the cartons near the window for sunlight. 

Macaroni Maniacs

Both the boys like having macaroni and cheese for lunch! It’s so much easier to only make one lunch too. 

Monday

Monday was a beautiful day! We headed to the park and played for a couple of hours. When we got home Declan rode his bike and then we had a popsicle! 

Sunny Afternoon

Yesterday the sun peeked out so we went out to ride bikes. Declan is getting faster and loves when Wesley and I chase him with the stroller!<br />

Then Declan got out his bubbles. Wesley hadn’t seen bubbles before so he was delighted. The wind was blowing hard and he wasn’t quite able to catch any. He loved clapping his hands and reaching for the bubbles!&nbsp;</div>

Rainy Day Play

We spent a rainy afternoon at Ferguson Park with the Hanson girls! Duffy

Declan adores his Duffy Bear that Aunt Paula gave him! He loves to dress Duffy in Wesley's baby clothes!
