Grospe Friends

We love living so close to our Grospe friends. On Tuesday we went to Ferguson park to play. After the playground we went to book cafe and kids cafe for lunch. The kids had a great time together.

On Wednesday we met at Jennings Park for the Recess Monkey concert. Declan, Avery and Oliver loved dancing together! Wesley tried to dance to and had a hard time not rolling down the hill with all of his crazy dance moves.

Blackberry Picking

Monday I had a dentist appointment so the boys stayed with Mao and Pop. After my appointment we stayed to pick blackberries.

Declan really only wanted to pick so that he could climb the ladder. Wesley on the other hand figured out he LOVES berries and the next thing we knew he was covered in blackberries.

Anacortes Arts Festival

On Saturday we took the boys to the Anacortes Arts Festival! We really enjoyed watching the artists at work and wandering the street fair. The highlight for Declan was the amazing kids area. He made a magnet, a pencil holder, a sun catcher, buttons and a necklace. Wesley played in the sandbox and snacked.

Of course we had to stop to get cotton candy from the high school Key Club. 

After the street fair we went to Washington Park with Mao and Pop to take in the scenery and walk on the beach. Declan liked hunting for "dead crabs" and turning over rocks.

We ate dinner together at the Skagit Valley Brewery before heading home.
