Garden Show

Declan and I went with Grammy to the Garden Show! It had snowed Saturday night and there was a little snow on the ground Sunday, so there was hardly anyone there. We had a great day looking at the beautiful display gardens. We also ate our picnic lunch and listened to a gospel choir. Afterwards we went to Penney's and got some great deals on some summer clothes!

Anacortes, Mt Erie, Deception Pass

Today we went with Grammy, Pop and Dennis on a little tour. Dennis is visiting from Denver and wanted to see some sites. It's been a little chilly here, in the 20's so we bundled up and headed out. First we went to Anacortes. We stopped at the marina and admired all the boats, tugs and yachts.

Next we went to Mt Erie which has views of the Puget Sound, Whidbey Island, the Olympics and the Cascades.

Then we went to Deception Pass beach! We had a great walk and enjoyed the water. 

We stopped in Oak Harbor for fish and chips before riding the ferry home. We had a lovely day together. 

Three months old!

Declan is 3 months old today. I can't believe how quickly the months have gone by. We've enjoyed every moment, even the poop shooting across the room. He's been such a joy in our lives with his sweet smiles, hugs and snuggles.

Soccer signing day

Yesterday Declan and I went to Austin's soccer signing day. He's going to play soccer at St Martin's in the fall! I can't believe he's really graduating from high school and heading off to college. It will be 18 years ago in the fall that I first baby sat Austin and Taylor and began a life long friendship with their family.

Super Bowl!

Declan, Brad and I made "Beast Cakes" on Saturday to get ready for the Super Bowl.

Sunday morning we got Declan in his Seahawks gear to head out to church. After the service Tor took a 12th man photo!

After church Declan helped us get the table ready with our treats for our friends to come over. The Grospe's, Linns, Missy and Christiane came over for the game!
