Adventure Week Day Ten: Easter Sunday

This morning we jumped out of bed and managed to be ready in half an hour to go to the 8:30 service at church. Declan was practically perfect during the whole service and quietly played and listened. After church we ate the youth breakfast. Declan walked around and visited with lots of people. He loves saying hi and giving high fives.

We left after breakfast so Declan could take a nap before heading to Snohomish. While Declan napped, I worked in the yard and Brad washed the cars. Declan woke up from his nap and helped in the yard, too. He helped me water the replanted plants and rake the mulch. We cleaned up and changed clothes to got to Snohomish.

Elias was sound asleep when we arrived in Snohomish. Grammy and Paula were working in the yard planting. Paula went to pick up Great Nana. Once she arrived, Elias woke up and the boys had a little Easter egg hunt. They loved it! Declan was so excited to open the eggs and stuff the jelly beans in his mouth! They had a lot of fun so we his more eggs to let the boys look more. Great Nana held a bowl in her lap and they put the eggs in the bowl when they found them.

Peep!

The boys each got an Easter basket with drawing paper, sidewalk chalk, crayons and play dough!

After the egg hunt, the boys had a few jelly beans and then got ready to eat dinner. Scott and Kristine arrived home from Paris. Dan and Todd arrived about the same time as well. We had delicious salmon, potatoes Romanoff, sourdough, green salad and asparagus. For dessert we had cheesecake! It was all excellent! Declan fell asleep part way through dinner and missed out on all the good food. After dinner we visited and Elias entertained us running around and laughing.
