After our amazing morning we headed over to California Adventure! Paula went to grab us fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers while the rest of us went to A Bug's Land. Declan was in heaven since all of the rides were sized just for him! We rode Flik's Flyers, Roll 'Em Buggies, Heimlich's Chew Chew Train, Ladybug Boogie and more!
We left A Bug's Land and rounded the corner into RADIATOR SPRINGS! Declan was excited! We were in the land of his favorite movie: Cars! We strolled the streets looking at the Cozy Cone, Flo's V8 Cafe and more. We stopped to have our pictures taken. We got to meet Red the Fire Engine. Then we rode Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. It was a fun little ride.
Next we headed over to ride the Grizzly River Run. Declan isn't tall enough so Paula took him to the Redwood Creek Challenge trail where Declan ran around and looked for animal tracks.
We had a great ride on the River Run. We met up right after that and saw Chip and Dale. Declan was a little shy at first until he realized that Dale was ticklish! Once he knew that he couldn't get enough of tickling those chipmunks!
Next we walked down to the Paradise Pier area to ride Midway Mania. We stopped to enjoy the scenery along the way.
Declan wanted to ride King Triton's Carousel. He rode a dolphin and I rode a seal.
Declan was a champ waiting in a long line to do the arcade ride Midway Mania, which of course he loved since he could "shoot" things! Paula and D shared a churro while we waited.
After that ride we went to Radiator Springs Racers. Unfortunately Declan isn't tall enough. Paula entertained him while we all rode the race cars! He met Lightning McQueen and Mater! It was so much fun!
Once we all met up again we went to see It's Tough to be a Bug, the 3D show. Declan especially enjoyed wearing the 3D glasses which looked like bugs eyes!
After the bug show, Declan went back to the hotel with the old people to take a rest! Brad and I rode California Screamin' and Soaring Over the World. Soaring was incredible! We also stopped for a margarita break.
After Declan's nap we met everyone on Buena Vista street to watch the Pixar Parade. We surprised Declan with Mickey ears. He was thrilled! We saw characters from the Incredibles, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars and more! It was a really great parade.
After the parade. Declan, Mao, Pop and Brad rode Mickey's Great Wheel while Paula and I meandered along the pier.
As the evening cooled we went down to have some dinner at the food court area. We all had good meals. Next week took Declan back to Cars Land to ride the Rollicking Roadsters while everyone else went on Soaring!
We walked to meet everyone. Brad and I did the singles line for Radiators Springs Racers while Declan had an ice cream cone. Time sure flew by and it was nearly park closing time once again. We headed back to the hotel to prepare for day three!
